- This screencast demonstrates how to open databases using Windows Explorer with its view options set to show file details.
- With this view option enabled, you should see the different files in a list along with their icons. You should also see other information beside the file including the file's size, it's type and the date of modification.
- OpenDocument databases like this one, should typically have a Base icon if OpenOffice is installed. To open the database, simply double click on its icon or filename.
- Great! OpenOffice.org Base should open along with the database you selected. Note that with OpenOffice installed, this happens because Base is the default program that opens OpenDocument databases.
