Delete cells - OpenOffice.org Calc

How-To: Delete cells - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. To delete cells, first you must select them.
  2. To do this, click and hold the left mouse button on one of the cells and then move through the other cells you want selected.
  3. Afterwards, release the mouse button.
  4. Next, click here on "Edit."
  5. On the menu that opens click on "Delete Cells..."
  6. The delete cells window appears. This lets you decide how other cells will behave once the selected cells have been deleted.
  7. For this example we are choosing the option "Shift cells left" just click on it once.
  8. Afterwards, just press OK.
  9. Great! Notice that our selected cells have been deleted, and the cells to the right of it have shifted left to replace them
  10. Congratulations! You have learned how to delete cells.
