How-To: Delete cells using the context menu - OpenOffice.org Calc
- To delete cells using the context menu, first you must select the cells to be deleted.
- To do this, first click and hold the left mouse button on one of the cells.
- Then, while holding the button move the mouse through the other cells that you want deleted.
- Once you're done release the left mouse button and then right click over the selected cells.
- The context menu should appear.
- Now, click on "Delete Cells..."
- The delete cells window should appear.
- Here you can choose how the other cells will behave once you have deleted the ones you want. For this example we want the cells to shift up once we delete the selected ones.
- Just click once on "Shif cells up"
- Afterwards, just press "OK."
- Great! The cells have been deleted.
