How-To: Hide cells when printing - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. To hide cells when printing, first click once on the cell you want to hide to select it.
  2. Next, click here on "Format."
  3. Then, on the menu that opens, click on "Cells..."
  4. Once the format cells window opens, click on the "Cell Protection" tab here.
  5. Now, look for the "Hide when printing" option here and click on the checkbox beside it.
  6. Afterwards, just click on "OK."
  7. Great! Now, you can check if the cell has been indeed hidden from printing by clicking on the page preview button here.
  8. Good, if we zoom-in to check...
  9. ...you should see that the cell we've hidden from printing doesn't appear here.
  10. Congratulations! You have learned how to hide cells from printing.
