Insert a single row - OpenOffice.org Calc

How-To: Insert a single row - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. To insert a single row, you must select an existing one first.
  2. This is because newly inserted rows will always appear in the position above a selected one. In this example we are selecting row "3."
  3. Do this by clicking once on the left-most side of the row where its reference name "3" is located.
  4. Once selected, right click over the column to reveal a side menu.
  5. Afterwards, click on "Insert Rows"
  6. Great! A new row has been inserted above the selected one.
  7. Take note that the original row we selected, as well as others below it have shifted downwards.
  8. Congratulations! You have learned how to insert a single row.
