Select multiple columns that are not connected - OpenOffice.org Calc

How-To: Select multiple columns that are not connected - OpenOffice.org Calc
  1. It is possible to select multiple columns which are NOT connected to each other.
  2. To do this first click once on the top of a column you want selected where its reference name is. In this case it is column B.
  3. Next, move to the top of the next column you want selected. For our example we have chosen column D.
  4. Now, press and hold the control (ctrl) key on your keyboard and then click once on the column.
  5. Great! Notice that column B and D are selected while column C in between them is not.
  6. Now, while still holding the control key just click on the top of other columns you want selected.
  7. Just release the control key to finish selecting the columns. Great! We have selected four columns.
  8. Congratulations! You have learned how to select multiple columns which are not connected.
