How-To: Select multiple columns that are not connected - OpenOffice.org Calc
- It is possible to select multiple columns which are NOT connected to each other.
- To do this first click once on the top of a column you want selected where its reference name is. In this case it is column B.
- Next, move to the top of the next column you want selected. For our example we have chosen column D.
- Now, press and hold the control (ctrl) key on your keyboard and then click once on the column.
- Great! Notice that column B and D are selected while column C in between them is not.
- Now, while still holding the control key just click on the top of other columns you want selected.
- Just release the control key to finish selecting the columns. Great! We have selected four columns.
- Congratulations! You have learned how to select multiple columns which are not connected.
